Going into an industry that is heavily male-dominated makes me feel empowered to work for a company who is so diverse with many females in position of management. Apprenticeships give you transferable skills, which further education may not give you. boxxe offered me a way into the full-time employment and this is the path I chose to follow. If you are considering an apprenticeship, boxxe can help nurture and progress you into a better future.

boxxe definitely stood out for me amongst other employers. Returning to education at a later age, as well as having no previous experience in IT was daunting, however boxxe made it all extremely easy. I have felt supported by colleagues and management since I started and was able to successfully complete my apprenticeship course whilst working full time around my family. Although I was apprehensive about taking the route of an apprenticeship, my experience has been positive and has allowed me to pursue a career change successfully.

Working at boxxe has really improved my confidence and helped me to develop communication skills, which I previously did not have. I would recommend choosing an apprenticeship if you don’t want to continue with full time education, as they are a great approach to continue learning in college with the added bonus that you’re also making money!

I did not feel further education was the right path for me, so I chose to go into an apprenticeship in an industry that is constantly growing. boxxe support you on your apprenticeship by helping you through your college work and arranging regular catch-ups on how they can help with your progress.

With apprenticeships, you are able to experience working full-time whilst gaining a qualification. This was more appealing to me than attending university. The main thing for me when I chose boxxe was that it sits within an industry that will always be needed because we’re becoming more and more invested in technology.

Having an interest in technology, I decided on boxxe as they’re a great business to work for with so much potential for me. If anyone has the opportunity to do an apprenticeship, I would say to take it. It has allowed me to learn and develop skills that will open many doors for my future.

I am thoroughly enjoying my apprenticeship in the Technical Services Team as I am learning on the job, as well as earning money. Its great that I get the hands-on experience in my role along with qualifications rather than just learning from theory. The working environment at boxxe is great and have made me feel very welcome.

I would say to anybody wanting to do an apprenticeship that it is one of the best things you could ever choose to do.

I didn’t have any previous experience in IT, so doing an apprenticeship offered me learning on the job. boxxe is a great company to work for. There are so many people I could reflect off, which in turn helped progress my knowledge faster. My apprenticeship was in networking, which opened many other doors within the business. I have now completed my apprenticeship and was offered a full-time position as a Junior Security Analyst, which of course, I accepted.
