Technical Support Manager – Services

Studied Automotive Engineering at UCE (now Birmingham City University) then Sociology and Criminology in Sunderland.

Started in technical roles by self-funding COMPTIA A+, N+ and an MCSE in Windows Server 2003 then moved into testing, support and then minor development for a bespoke software house.

An eclectic history in IT, including several breaks, with a mix of testing, minor development, service desk, desktop support and system support & management.

My support teeth were cut in education and now firmly in a commercial environment, supporting internal and external systems while managing the 1st-2nd line teams internally as well as offering support in some 3rd line capacity.

Avid mountain biker, when not working usually found going downhill on two wheels, playing games or building LEGO. Animal lover, vegetarian and wearer of caps.
